Our vineyards are born on the banks of the Tastavins River, which extend up to the foot of an old farmhouse located at the top of the valley. In this unique place is the Mas de Llucia Winery, a true paradise for wine lovers.
The 2023 Harvest was more than just a simple harvest, it was a unique experience for our visitors where they participated in this great moment. The day where all the enthusiasm and effort of the entire year is collected.
The day began with an exciting adventure through the vineyards of Finca Mas de Llucia. The visitors boarded the 4×4 SUVs that took them to the plot that was the protagonist that day, offering majestic panoramic views of the surroundings.
The heart of the harvest is, of course, the harvesting of the grapes. The end of a stage, a day that occurs once a year.
Visitors became winegrowers for a day. This direct connection to the land and the vine gave them a deeper appreciation of the craftsmanship that goes into producing quality wine. Guided by oenology experts, they understood the symbiosis between variety and terroir that results in wines with a unique and distinctive character. Touching the grapes with their own hands, selecting the clusters and picking them made them feel like they were participating in this beautiful project.
The visit continued in the winery’s production room, where the winemaking processes were revealed to the curious eyes of the visitors. After welcoming the grapes into the winery, already stored in the tanks, the feeling of satisfaction can only be celebrated in one way. Something that cannot be missing at an event like this, wine. Attendees were able to enjoy a guided tasting of the 2021 and 2022 vintages, where they discovered the magic through a careful selection of wines.
The experience culminated with a delicious four-course menu paired with the winery’s wines. This banquet was served in the same winery, on a large porch with unimaginable views, creating an intimate and special atmosphere that highlighted the harmony between food and wine.
